Why Is My Ticket Not "Released" Yet?

The default setting when creating an event to sell tickets on Universe is to send tickets immediately after booking, however, event organizers have the option to delay the release of tickets until closer to their event.

When buying tickets to an event with a delayed ticket release, you'll still receive a confirmation email immediately after purchase and can view your order receipt and ticket info at any time. Once your ticket is released, you will receive an email and you can also login to your Universe Dashboard to access and view your ticket at any time. 

Delayed tickets can still be edited or transferred, and when the ticket is released, it will be sent to the ticket holder at the time of release. 
 
 Note: This setting is per ticket type on an event page and can be edited at any time so the release of tickets for an event may differ based on type and time of purchase.
