To host a multi day / multi session event on Universe, we recommend creating multiple events listings for each entrance type to avoid confusion with buyers and so all communication regarding their purchase is accurate (i.e. one listing for a single day pass and a separate listing for a 3-day pass).
To set this up:
1) Log in to your Universe account and select the Sell Tickets button at the top of your screen to set up your first event page for your multi day event. For a guide on setting up an event page, click here.
a) For a single-day event entrance, create one listing with multiple dates that correspond to each of the days that one can buy a single-day pass to.
NOTE: All the dates you add to an event page will be bookable for that event page and buyers will select which date they would like to attend from a drop down menu (if more than one date is added to the event). This will be displayed on their ticket(s) and reminder emails will be sent according to the date they have selected to attend. All ticket types you create on your event page will be available for each date you add to your event page.
2) Once you have set up your first event page, to create your second one, you can select the Sell Tickets button at the top of your screen or duplicate your event from your dashboard . Steps and information on duplicating an event page can be found here. Repeat this step until all of your event pages for your multi-date event have been created.
a) For the multi-day event pass, create one listing with a start and end date time that correspond to the entire event.
3) To promote all event pages with one Universe URL, set a custom URL for your Universe profile in your Settings.
NOTE: Only public events will show up on your profile.
4) If you'll be integrating your events to sell tickets directly from your website, we recommend using the Button integration and customizing the text of the button for the specific entrance type. Steps on integrating your the Button to your website can be found here.
