How to embed the widget on your WordPress.org site

How to embed the widget on your WordPress.org site:

Note: The embed widget will only work on wordpress.org sites (not wordpress.com)

1. Once you have created your Universe event page and you have copied the piece of code to generate your widget, log-in to your WordPress.org account and select the page that you would like to feature the widget on. To do this, select "All Pages" under "Pages" on the left side bar, and then select which page will feature the widgets.

2. Before you can paste the line of code for the widget onto your page, make sure you are in HTML mode. This mode can be selected on the top right corner of the edit page. You will be in "Visual" mode by default, and you'll need to switch to Text.

3. Paste the line of code onto the page depending on where you would like the widget to appear within the copy. The widget should then appear on your website where you placed it. You can preview what it will look like by clicking the preview button.
