Universe has two options for payment processing when selling tickets to your Universe event.

Universe Payments (Default):
Universe payments is the default payment processing option and there is no set up required. When using Universe Payments, all payments for your event will be processed using our payment processor. A credit card processing will apply, and this can be passed on to buyers (default) or you can absorb into your price.

The funds from your event will be added to your Universe account balance 48 hours after the end of your event. You can then request your funds from your Universe Dashboard to receive them via cheque (United States and Canada only) or direct deposit (worldwide). Integrate with Stripe to process payments using your own payment processor. This will allow you to receive funds from ticket sales as they happen and is recommended if you'll need the funds before your event. Further information on setting up Stripe Connect can be found here.
NOTE: When integrating with Stripe, you'll be charged a processing fee by Stripe directly instead of the 3% Universe credit card processing fee, and by default the Stripe fee is not passed on as a Universe fee through our system. If you'd like to pass this fee on to your buyers, you can do so by creating an additional fee.
