Can I get a refund?

Whether an order is refundable is set by the organizer of the event. If you would like to request a refund for your order, first check the refund policy of the event your tickets are for. The refund policy will be noted on the event page or on your Ticket page in the 'Invoice Summary' or 'Notes From The Organizer' section which can be found by click the 'View Order' button here

If you choose to request a refund outside of the host's set refund policy, issuing you a refund is at the discretion of the host. 

If your order is free, you can cancel your ticket(s) directly from your Universe account. Steps to do so, can be found here

To Request A Refund:

1. Log-in to your Universe account, go to your Your Tickets page and locate the order you would like to request a refund for.

  NOTE: The option to request a refund is only available for upcoming events. If you would like to request a refund for an event that has ended, please contact the organizer directly. 

2. Click the dropdown menu beside the 'View Order' button and select 'Request Refund'




  NOTE: Only the Buyer of the order , the owner of the ticket(s), is able to request a refund.

3. From the message modal that appears, enter any additional information, if needed, and click 'Send Message'.

  NOTE: Partial refunds are not possible. If you have purchased more than 1 ticket in the same order, all tickets in your order will be cancelled and refunded. 


The event organizer should get back to you regarding your request, and has the ability to issue you a refund through Universe. When a refund is issued, the money will appear back on your credit card within 5 - 8 business days. Please note that if your refund request is outside the host's refund policy, issuing you a refund is at the sole discretion of the host. 
 

If you do not hear back from the event organizer regarding your refund request within 3 business days, please contact us directly. Universe is unable to issue refunds outside of the host's set refund policy.
