If you have bought tickets for an event on Universe and would like a refund, the first thing you should do is read the event page details to check if the event organizer has outlined any specific policies about refunds. You can access the event page page from your dashboard and then selecting the event name in the Tickets section.
Some event organizers might specify their refund policy and if they allow refunds at all or if you need to request a refund by a certain time before the event date. If the organizer does not specify anything about their refund policy in their event description, the next best step would be to contact the event organizer directly and request a refund.
You can contact your event organizer by heading to the event page and clicking the "contact organizer" button at the bottom of the page. If the organizer has listed their email address or other contact information on the event page or on their profile, feel free to reach out to them that way as well.
The event organizer should get back to you regarding your request, and has the ability to issue you a refund through Universe. Once they issue you a refund, the money will appear back on your credit card within 5 business days. NOTE: Refunds can only be issued for the full amount of the purchase. For example, if you were to buy 4 tickets and wanted a refund for 2, you could only be refunded for all 4 tickets and would need to re-purchase the other 2 tickets, pending availability.
